I know that some people have had one heck of a time removing the Sway bar link pins in the front axle. Some have resorted to cut off wheels, cutting torches, or even just a BFH. I'm unsure if anyone else has attempted this before, but the pins are splined into the mount and therefore a PITA to get out. So yesterday, while I was getting ready to install the RE GEN2 disconnects, I was look at this pin. I had already tried a BFH and no luck so then I noted the shape and size of the mount. It seemed similar enough that I could try to use the Pitman Arm Puller that I had just used to change out my pitman arm. Sure enough! Just make sure that you thread the nut back on to the end of the Pin after you remove the sway bar link.
Like this.

It can be done without the nut on but it is not recommended.

Then make your own pins or install your new disconnects.
