Default Would a ZJ look dumb with 2 CB antennas?

I have a real crappy scanner antenna right now and I am picking up a CB-BNC adapter so I could use a CB antenna as my scanner antenna. I have my CB antenna mounted on the drivers side through the body since I couldn't find a tail mount, but, would anyone think if I mount it directly the same and flesh as the one on the drivers side, would adding the same kind (getting 7 or 9 foot whips with springs) look dumb?

Looking cool, or dumb is subjective. You can use a CB antenna as a scanner antenna without any adverse affects to the scanner. But having two antenna's that close will have an effect on how well you CB will work, and if the scanner is on while transmitting with the CB will overload the front end of the scanner with the potential of feedback going through the CB.

Hey, guys! Not trying to steal your thread, but I have a question. Do you need a liscence for CB as the FCC says, or is it like it way in the 70's? I have two 23 channel mobile units and a base unit with 5 watt outputs. Can I use them without bringing down the heat? I even have a registered call sign from when a liscence was required.

No license is needed for 27MHz CB operation as of like the late 70's/early 80's IIRC. You can still use the 23 channel rigs, you will just not have full use of all 40 channels with them. Callsigns also are no longer needed.

The transmissions I put out are "muffled" according to a trucker 1/2 mile from me. The bolts to the mount are starting to get some corrosion on them. Should I pull it from this mount and mount it on the back tailgate or something? I don't have enough Coax to do it to be able to mount it, or should I go back to a magnet mount I had no issues with other than it flying off
