Can someone tell me where to find the plug for the WK 2008 Diesel Block Heater

PLUG IN CABLE WAS COILED, SORT OF HIDDEN BECAUSE IT IS COVERED IN THE SAME "WRINKLED PLASTIC COVER" THAT EVERYTHING ELSE IS...(IT LOOKS LIKE PART OF THE ELECTRICAL WIRING SYSTEM )

DOWN BESIDE THE AIR CLEANER BOX. YA!

First of all, Welcome...

But you are actually trying to find the plug for the wall outlet? Are you sure your WK came with a block heater?

Mercedes Benz 3.0 crd v6?
You mean the glow plugs?
They are on the side of the heads over the exhaust.

Thank you for welcome.. Never assume anything ..Right...Well I am in Canada and just Assumed seeing it is a diesel and was sold New Locally, that it would come with one.

Are you saying this Diesel doesn't need it up here?

I am beginning to wonder what I mean ...

I do mean the block heater to warm the diesel block up in the minus temps ... you plug this into a power outlet... my 99 (non-diesel) has one.

I can't find anything listed on that site regarding where your heater cord would be if you have it. Sorry.

Well i think it may be an optional for Canada and very cold places, usually the modern common rail diesels start very well with low temp. too.

Now the experiment is to let it sit out over night in some frigid temperatures and see how it starts with the block heater unplugged...

Im sure it will do just fine though...lol
