Hi everyone. I have a stock WJ 2004 limited I'm selling. I had used tires put on a few years back and now they are bald, so I'm looking for replacements before selling. The size on now is P245/ 65R17 and I found a set of P245/ 70R16 online. I also like the rims better. Will these fit on mine? Appreciate the help, I don't know a lot about tires. There's no lift on the vehicle. My research, if correct is 1" smaller rim but taller rubber? Might look better if they fit.

Those are Timberline stock wheels found on 99 and 2000 Larados and the 245/70R16 tires are the factory optional size. They will fit perfectly because they were designed to fit over the Teves brake calipers originally installed on these models and the later Akabono calipers are smaller. Here's a picture of my 2000 Larado when I bought it in 2012 and one in 2016.
They'll certainly fit. I have a set of Wrangler JK wheels on my WJ Laredo, so not only can you use stock rims from another Grand Cherokee WJ, but also a Grand Cherokee WK/WK2, Wrangler JK/JL, or Gladiator JT. The '99-'00 Limiteds had 16"x7" rims and 16" tires (not sure of the exact spec, believe they're P245/70R16s) on them, and they upgraded them to 17"'s and P235/65R17's in '01.
