I found one of my front coils shifted forward on it's cushion, so I bought new cushions. It turns out there is a flange on the steel bracket that holds the cushion in place and it had rotted away! My mechanic buddy fixed BOTH sides by making new flanges with his pipe machine and welding them onto what was left.

I just wanted to pass that on.

I forgot to mention that's the lower cushions that are on the axle seats. The uppers looked solid.
