Alright so I want to get rid of the junk 35 in the rear. The JY around me has only 35s accept for one Dana 44 out of a 99 WJ with the V8. The gears are 3.73 but it would be regeared before install. Question is .. Is this axle still a bolt up even though it's from a WJ? I know the bolt pattern is also different but wheel adapters can fix that. Any help is great.. Thanks!

Bolt in.. no, it's wider than a ZJ also.

WJ's don't use upper control arms, uses a single triangular A-arm.

Yeah the rear suspension is different its wider and wrong bolt pattern. If you want bolt in it has to be from a zj anything else will take welding to fit.

The WJ also has a single upper control arm. You'd have to weld mounts for your uppers on it anyway.
