I tried searching this but all i got were instructions on how to replace the fuel filter. I want to do that but my mounting bracket is so rusty i'm afraid its going to disintegrate if i try to loosen it. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? I trade some of the big auto parts store with no luck.

 

You may be able to use some plumbers strap to mount it.
Check a hardware store for it.

 

The boneyard will have it, it may be the same bracket used on many other Chrysler products if you can't find a decent bracket on a Jeep.

 

What year are you working on? I thought the fuel filter for my '9 WJ came with a new bracket since there really isn't much to it.

 

I have 95 limited. I bought a wix filter from oreilly's. Was it supposed to come with a bracket?

 

Some come with brackets and some dont. A jy would probably be the best place to look though.
