I was just checking out roughcountry's website..
The deal is I have some extra money and it's burning a whole in my wallet.. lol
I think I'm just gonna shop around a while and find deals on each part and just put it on as I go.
Would 4.5 lift coils on stock control arms be a bad idea?

The LCA's will allow you to shift the axles a bit to fit larger tires. You must have the uppers to set your pinion angle, otherwise you could have some nasty vibes.

I'm running 31's at stock height. I don't plan to go any bigger on tires for a while.. I'm just wanting it to be a smooth ride on the road, then to be able to disconnect the sway bars for offroad use. 4.5" is about where I want it to sit

Well, for the smoothest ride in a short arm lifted Jeep, you'll want all adjustable uppers, you could get by with fixed lowers, new adjustable trackbars, and a good quality set of shocks.

I have just finished this, well in progress
I went with some OME springs. Rocky Road has them as part a kit but they will sell you just the springs if you call them. Can't remember how much they quoted but I think they were 50 a spring. These springs ride better than when I had a BB with factory springs. http://www.rocky-road.com/zjtrailblazer.html They use drop brackets though, not good enough in my opinion. You will need something to level them out I have a slight rake with the 4.0 and no bumpers. Pick up some pucks and cut them to the height you need or drop some coin and get ACOS.
I went with the OME shocks as well. Pricey but work great.
You definitely need need track bars. I used a KOR for the front (It is the same bar as the JKS rear only they welded a piece to the bottom of of the factory bracket. And I used a JKS rear.
Control arms are up to you. I had the factory ones on which worked except my bushings were shot which caused me some death wobble. The clearance of the rear wells was a concern. With the factory arms there was only 1" of space. I swapped in some JK rear UCA's this only gave me 1 1/2" clearance. I need to open up the rear wells. I also noticed that the stock arms were hitting the the top of the bracket the JK ones do as well but I attribute this to having the factory upper arms which rotates the front axle and affects my pinion angle. No vibes though. I didn't want to buy arms though since my end goal is LA's.
I went with a TC drop but I don't know if I needed it or not.
Brake lines- **get some** I have XJ lines on right now a tad longer than the ZJ ones but not sure how much, the square end allows you to rotate how it attaches giving you a little extra. At full droop (mine is limited by the arms as mentioned previously) there is tension on them.
Most all of this is written up in my build thread along with my trials and tribulations

I pieced this all together. I found multiple sets of the used springs on CL. I got mine, the JKS rear trackbar, and OME rear shocks for $300. The KOR front Trackbar I got on ebay can't remeber the price it was new but never installed therefore cheaper than KOR's. TC drop $24. JK rear UCA $25 for one set and $50 for the other. Shop around and you can do pick this up for under $500.
