Whats a cheap way to center the rear axle in the wheel well
So I did a fr to rear swap lift it's about 3" or more. So what's a cheap way to center the axle in the wheel well? I have the stock C arms.

Are those shorter or longer? I have cherokee ones on my ZJ because they have better bushings. I put a cherokee front axle on my wifes TJ.

You do in fact realize that centering the rear wheel in the wheelwell actually reduces flex, right? Go out with a jack and cycle the suspension through up and down, you'll soon realize that as the wheel travels up it also travels back...

No didnt think of that. I dont do hardly any 4 wheeling though. So its fairly normal when you lift a jeep that the tire is closer to the front of the wheel well then the back?

yup, watch this video, it will give you a rough idea how raising and lowering suspension alters your wheel base.

That was cool. I want to get the wheel base closer to stock now that it has a 3" lift. The control arms need to be longer to do that right?

yeah, you can get away with only adjustable lowers. at 3 inches, you caster angle won't be out much.
then when you lift more, you will only need to get some adjustable uppers.
but long arms is best for 4.5 inches and up.
