Looked all through the FSM to try and find what it adjusted. Found a nice picture of it, but no explanation of its purpose. Anyone know?

Haha, well I did that. Nothing noticeable in overall geometry. As far as what I would expect judging from the mechanism, it looks like it would make small changes to whatever the analog of thrust angle is for the front axle.
Also, I just bought a fancy camber/caster gauge, so I'll try twisting and seeing what happens with that when I have a chance too.

I don't think my o4 has any adjustment on it except for toe in and then you have to twist the whole axle to adjust the rake. 2004 Laredo four wheel drive, but yeah that cam is going to be a caster or camber adjustment.

It does adjust the caster angle, but no more than 1/2* at best. It's purpose is mainly to adjust the thrust angle, as in aligning the axle perpendicular to the body. At least that's what my bodyman says. My 97 ZJ had them and my 2000 WJ doesn't. I don't see any purpose at all because the uppers are not adjustable.
