Default What MPG's you gettin' with the WJ

I'm looking at a 2003 WJ for $5,500. I'm thinking about sellin my Daily Driver 2003 VW Jetta (30 +/- mpg) & am wondering what gas milage you guys are getting with the WJ's ( I know it won't be anywhere near 30) .... I had a 2002 WJ a couple years ago but can't remember what i was getting. I'm looking for mpg's on a stock 6cycl. with stock tires & drivetrain... Thanks

Wow, I know the motor & tranny is pretty much the same as my XJ, but I was thinking (hoping) they were in the low 20's at least. Thanks for the info. I do love the WJ body & ride...... Tough to go from 30+ mpg to 20 (at best)....

Thanks again,
Dan

But Momma, I can't drive 55!

My 2000 4.0 WJ with 3.55s and 16" tires get me about 17.5 on cruise at 65.
