Were this hose go?

THere's a hose on the top of the gears of my front axle. It was dragging when I got home. were does it plug into up top? 98 I6 GC is what I got.

That should be your breather tube.

Some have a check valve so water can't get in.

It doesn't hook to anything, its ran up inside the engine compartment safely so the open end never goes below water.

run it as high into the engine compartment as possible. The factory spot was snapped to the side of the air filter box.

I removed the airbox to put in a after market one, so that explains why it's hanging. Thanks guys
