You may have lost a snap ring causing a cap to come out.

Not really. It just feels like it's in part-time 4WD.

ill check it and im also experiencing a new problem the engine is starting to die when it idels and is very hard to start

That could be the Idle Air Control being dirty. Also check the vacuum hoses to the MAP sensor and the CCV.

could the fuel rail be dirty ? I changed all those sensors and nothing changed it also spits and shutters when I start it up but goes away 2 min and runs good

FAWK. I have this problem too. Thanks for the info. God there are so many parts on this vehicle that I have to fix I'm wondering if I made a grave mistake buying one of these as a beater/project.

I've seen many swap threads and I'll check them out, but is it truly more cost effective if you're having a shop do all the work? I don't have access/the time/skill to wrench on this.
