My voltage gauge dropped all the way to the left and bottomed out on 9, my check gauges light came on. It went off the next day and voltage returned to normal. Yesterday, it bottomed out again and has been on since.
this has happened a couple of times since I bought the jeep almost 2 years ago but the times it happened it only lasted a couple of minutes each time.
I replaced the alternator back in april, the computer was replaced in march along with a bunch of pins and harnesses.
any ideas on where to start looking?

If the gauge bottomed out this indicates it wasn't even reading the battery voltage at that point. Sounds like a bad Cable connection or an intermittent short to the body/engine somewhere.
