Default unknown rattling

My 97 grand cherokee is making a rattling noise in the passanger rear side the noise started after i replaced the orignial shocks at 235,000 miles im wondering if its just a shock might be a little loose but wondering what it could also be. there is also the same rattling in the front driver side but not nearly as bad.

Crawl up under there and start checking bolts & nuts for proper tightness.

Nothing like a little hand-on diagnostics. We can't fix it for you over the internet.

well if the problem started after the repair the first thing you should do is double check all the bolts involved and make sure they are tight. I've noticed some shocks have a narrower sleeve and you have to tighten them really good so they get pinched in place properly.

You should also check to see if the brake calipers and pads are rattling. Lightly apply the brakes when you hear the noise, if it goes away you found the problem.

possible. Jack up 1 side at the axle tube. place hands at 10 & 2 and shake. Repeat at 5 and 7. If the wheel gives could be a sign
