Transmission

I have a 2000 grand cherokee 2wd 4.0 I found a transmission out of a 1999 Cherokee 2wd 4.0 will it work?

either way I don't think there is much difference year to year. Someone here should have an educated answer

Model: Grand Cherokee (WJ)

Engine: 4.0L

Not a problem at all. The difference is the earlier years. Yours has the speed sensor inside the transmission and before 99, the speed sensor was in the transfer case on the 4wd. IDK about the earlier 2wd.
