Transfer case oil seals
Hi, I think my t case is leaking slightly. Is it a straight forward job to change the oil seals where the driveshaft enters? Is there one for the front shaft as well as the rear? I take it there is. And does anyone know the dimensions? I have a 1998 ZJ, quadratrac model. Thanks.

the auto part should be able to give you the right seal and yes it's not hard you just take a screw driver and a hammer and tap it out from the lip in just be carefull not to damage the Transfer case and the new one goes right in just set up there and tap it in you can also use a big socket to help you tap it in.

Have ordered the seal, I pick it up on Saturday from the local jeep dealer. It was £25! I buy these for work for the printing presses for no more than £2. If only I knew the dimensions as surely it is a standard off the shelf size? But to late now anyway as it's paid for!
