Hi, I've got a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a tranny cooler. The small 90 degree hose fitting on the front cracked. The hose fitting is clamped on as stock. Went to a dealer and they will only sell entire cooler not just the fitting. So I went to auto parts store, got a piece of straight tranny hose, bent it and double clamped each end. Working fine but it has a slight kink in it. Will the kink restriction limit the cooling? Don't expect to do much towing of any at all. Will the kink cause the hose to crack sooner? Any source for a new replacement. Not that comfortable going to a junk yard and getting an aged hose. Thanks.
