Hey guys I am new to jeeps I bought a 97 GC I put new tie rods center link and track bar. All new but my question is I still have a lot of play in the tie rods. Is this normal? I can move them fairly easy by hand I know my car I can't is this a 4x4 thing as the are a lot different

No, it is not normal. There should be no looseness in any of the steering joints. This is one of the causes of the "Death Wobble". Not the only one, however.

You shouldn't be able push the ball stud into the socket, but there will be a rocking, or swiveling movement. No up and down or side to side movement.
