throttle linkage.
My throttle linkage keep sticking hardcore. After it sits all night I can't push the throttle pedal down. I have to actually break it free by hand but then is fine the rest of the day. I've lubed the cables and checked the pedal for anything blocking it. All seems good. Position sensor?

Clean the throttle body bore, you have carbon built up and it is causing the throttle blade to catch on it. Carb cleaner and an old tooth brush will do the trick.

Is spotless. That was the first thing I cleaned. I'm really puzzled by this. That's why I'm leaning towards the sensor. I read that if the throttle sensor is bad can cause the transmission to shift funny. And it started soon that thus morning. I'm not sure though.

It's possible you have a broken wire strand inside the cable that's catching on the shroud, although this is a constant sticking thing. This happened on my Chevy truck.

I thought of that. I picked up a position sensor a little bit ago. I talked to the guy at the parts place. That when those go bad they cause an array of other things to go goofy cause they go right into the pcm. Sensor was cheep so I'm gonna start the easiest first.

Okay, now you're talking about the transmission's throttle cable. Disconnect it from the TB and check for freedom of motion. If that's good, adjust it.
