I saw your thread. Personally i'm not a fan of 3 links, i tend to log alot of miles on trips out west vs the rocks anymore. I dont wanna worry about a single bolt snapping.. but i do get the benefits on a rock rig.

Thats the reason i abandoned my XJ with 6" and LA's for something a tad lower/lighter and more comfortable across country. 16 years in an XJ and i was ready for a change.

Use of those flapper discs will make a world of a difference. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my projects as well. Those disc makes everything smooth.

I go through a lot of them. I can actually make my ****ty welds with decent with them.

I was a bit weary of the 3 link myself, I got a great price on it however. I have to say though, the 3 link long arms really improved on road and highway driving over the RE short arms.

I get the 3 link thing, and the inherant binding of a radius design. For me now that i'm more of a scenic/moderate trail type i felt there was no issue with the radius design.. i dont have to worry about anything going catastrophic at 65 MPH on the interstate.

I know lots of guys run a 3link on road but it's not for me..
