Sunroof glass removal
98 ZJ ltd., is there a way to pull the sunroof glass without dropping the headliner? I need to fix one broken piece of the track and all I need to do is get to it.

My manual I got from vintagemanuals.net doesn't say anything about the headliner. I need to adjust mine but have not gotten around to it yet so I would like to hear how it goes for you.
REMOVAL
(1) Position glass to vent position.
(2) Remove wind deflector mechanism covers (Fig. 4).
(3) Position sunshade full rearward.
(4) Loosen nuts holding glass panel to side adjustment brackets show in View B (Fig. 4).
(5) Slide glass panel rearward 12mm (0.5in.) and separate glass from sunroof unit
Factory service manuals are awesome by the way.
