Oh man do I know how you feel. My dad was the same way! Honestly there is nothing we can do. would save up as much money as I can. And when he sees that this is what you really want and you are willing to do anything for it. He might change his mind. Mine did that. Not saying its the same case. But hey if it dont work, you got a butt load of money to blow. lol.

actually buy some like interior shine and use it on your cladding.
thats what i did and it looks way better now. much darker. but be careful it it messy if it gets on the paint

 

Yeah I have used it before. But it always goes bak to that ugly gray. lol. I dont like it. Thats why I was thinking just painting it all black would look good.

Oh I will. I dont see any other ZJ's that have done it. I think it will look good. But Who knows. I might do my grille too. Not for sure yet. I got the stuff to do that grill back round thing. Have not done it yet though.

 

i've seen a lot of GC's with painted cladding. white ones really look good with it.
