ok so I have a 99 wj 4.7 limited and its about 6 months old to us. Since we have got it, it has had nothing but problems. Today I went to back into my drive way and it stalled out in the middle of the road. What would cause this? Some problems in the past few weeks have been it jolting with power when starting, running only a couple cylinders than all 8, and not wanting to move when put in drive. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it

 

well i have the same with an 16 but i had that problem and it was a connecting issue with the battery it is not getting a charge to power everything. your ignition coils are not getting ehough powere to make spark. and your trans problem is beyond me. get a new altinator

 

its not like weakness jolt its like hyper jolt of energy to everything. We were maybe thinking exhaust maybe or like the o2 sensors but its not losing power up hill at all. just very hot

 

Same thing, It happened to me today??? I got under the hood and found that the battery was loose. Tightened everything up and went on my way like it was nothing? Like my fuel pump went out, but it was the battery

 

idk what the deal is... I have a hairy feeling it will blow itself up. damn computers
