Default Oxygen sensor

at first my 2001 grand jeep cherokee Ltd had an overheating problem. The electrician claimed that the fan hydrolic switch may be faulty. He fixed the overheating problem by bypassing the fan hydrolic switch. Consequently the oxygen sensor light went on. After about 10 days the car is stalling and misbehaving. I suspect that the car electrician may have done something with the wiring system. I am not stucked with a stalled car and can't find a jeep specialist as I am in a remote city in West Africa. Please advise
