Hi There
I'm going away for a month and need to get a solar powered trickle charger so that my baby will start when I get back as I think that getting my son to start my car once a week will damage the battery. I have a 4.7 V8 1999 beastie. Can anyone please recommend what I can get and where. Thankyou very much

you can get them online, however it shouldnt hurt your vehicle to sit for a month. And cranking the jeep up and letting it run for about maybe 5-10 min will actually be good for the battery, not bad.

I second this. Specially of you live in a damp area letting the jeep start like 2 times a week helps keep things from seizing.

I went to Florida for a week, had my jeep sitting in an airport lot outdoors for that week. When I came back omg did she squeal. Thought I was gonna snap the belt. Mind you I also did have a bad AC pulley

Welcome to CF. Read this about storing your '99 Grand Cherokee for a short time.
