Default Popping noise from front, not the cv axle?

Just finished cv axle/wheel hub install due to a loud popping noise from the front end. Well that didn't fix it,noise still there. Seems to only happen wheh I turn. Both sway bar end links are intact, but could one possibly be bad? I just replaced one about 6mos. ago because it was broken.

I have the same thing going on with my jeep. I've replaced the cv joints already (they really needed it) so im thinking it may be the ball joints. You may want to check and see if thats where your problem is.

I mean this thing really pops, can't see it being a ball joint.

have someone get in and crank the steering wheel back and forth while you look at you front end (it sounds like the track bar bushing at the axle)

Yeah that was my next step, gonna have the wife help me on that one. The Jeep runs down the road at speed just fine, never had any "death wobble" issues.

Hey guys- mine also did it! Turned out to be the front diff mountings! Might not be your problem tho but it was mine. It made a loud 'clack' noise only sometimes when turning. Now I have a new noise: also when turning right, and only immediately after startup, I get a faint clack clack clack noise somewhere from the front. Goes away after everything's warmed up...still trying to figure that one out!!!!
