Hello guys. I'm new to jeeps as of a week ago. I've always been more of a sports car person. Well recently my seals went bad in my 04 RX8 and I had to depart from it. I now have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The day after I got it we decided to put a new head unit and go mudding/mountain climbing. Half way up through this adventure we noticed that the SKIM light had came on and shut off my clusters as well. I didn't think anything of it so we kept on trucking. Well now after a week of it being on and messing with clusters, windows, and interior lights I have decided enough is enough. I took out the head unit thinking it was the problem. My clusters worked for maybe a minutes and now have went off again. Could some one please help me in this situation diagnose what my problem may be or ideas of what could've happened! S.O.S!!!!!
