Silverstar Ultra 9004 bulb fit problem

Silverstar Ultra 9004 bulb fit problem
Tried to install the Silverstar Ultra 9004 bulb but the wiring harness socket wouldn't accept them. Could not push the headlight plug far enough into the wiring harness sockets for them to lock in place.
Anybody else experience this? Anybody have any advice.
I also "thought" I read somewhere in a forum that these bulbs would not fit a GC Laredo???
