Siiigh Now WHAT? 93 check engine light
Well first it was the freakin security system once in a blue moon not letting our 93 5.2 GC start. No key fob ever and the reset from door lock cylinders wouldn't work past time.
Towed it home and of course it started the next morning, or THANKFULLY it started the next morning but noticed it was running rough (like a slight miss) and check engine light came on .
Son has been driving so not sure of other clues but I just want to get rid of this thing. It is loaded with options and up till the light coming on it has run very well but I have way to many irons in the fire.
Any ideas on what to look for? O2 sensor? A list of codes for a 93? I saw the info on getting the dash code flash (hopefully not on the console digital display because it is totally dead).
Anyhow thank for any help, probably going to just throw it out there on Craigslist for a grand and see if I get any offers

Old fart with a wrench
Take it to Advance Auto and ask them to put their code reader on it. It's OBD I so it should read by flashes on the check engine light. Turn the ignition on, off, on, off, then on and the CEL should start flashing. Write down the codes as they come up. A code 27 will be 2 flashes, a short pause, followed by 7 flashes. A code 55 will be "end of test".
