2021 Grand Cherokee. When really pushing down for a hard stop on the brake pedal the brakes feel like they're being Limited. I don't get any noise like valve's actuated in the ABS system. Not sure if they're normally is noise. But when coming up and wanting a hard stop I feel like the stopping power is limited I should be able to press harder on the pedal and get more aggressive stopping which I can't do. Wondering if it's some kind of ABS problem.
what have other folks experienced?

ABS makes you think the world has come to an end. It's noisy and definitely will get your attention.
What you are describing does not sound like anything related to ABS.
Brakes are nothing to mess with. I'd get it to a shop.

That is what I am used to on a previous Chevy, loud vibrating sound. I actually get that sound on the jeep when the automatic braking kicks in when it "thinks" I might hit something..Originally Posted by BlueRidgeMark

Going to the shop on Tue. Something is limiting the pressure to the calipers on a hard stop.
Just for grins, I will check the pads for glazing before I take it in. Pads are not under warranty....it only has 26K miles.
Thanks,
Dan
