I have used 1 can of seafoam in 1 tank of gas, today i used 1/4 can in the throttle (drop by drop) and then let it stay for 10min and when i started it it started easier and it was silent and smooth. I tok it for a drive and it had a much better response and it is smooth and silent. The shifting response seems to work better to, and it hold same speed at lower rpm. Is this possible or is it only that i have used mony on snakeoil and that i want it to work, is seafoam realy so good? My car is a GC 1993 and have 275000km on it. It should be fun to see if the mpg is higher. If it realy is so good, what should i expect if i use it in my oil?

How often shuld i use it? Is it best to use it in the gas since the engine now is cleaned, would regular use in the gas hold the engine clean? Do you use it in your oil, should i use 1/3 in the oil and change the oil, is it a big risk for leak when used in the oil? I was really taken by suprise how different the engine sound after i used it, it was like wow what the he** happens here.

I've used Seafoam a few times in my 4.0, half in the tank and half through a vacuum hose on the intake manifold. When I pulled my intake manifold off to do my swap the intake ports in the head were spotless and there was nothing built up on the valves.

Does anyone have a picture of what hose to pull to suck the seafoam into the Tb?
Should i bother putting it in the tank if I'm changing out the injectors?
Also, if I'm swapping injectors, should I swap before or after the seafoam treatment?

I use the hose that goes from the brake booster to the intake manifold.
try to keep it so the engine doesn't die while you're doing this. if you notice the motor bogging down back off for a second until the idle smoothes out.

Put the Seafoam in the tank after you swap your injectors. I just used a long piece of vacuum hose plugged onto a nipple as close to the throttle body as I could get and then kept the other end of the hose just touching the surface of the Seafoam until I got to the last little bit and just dunked the hose in until the engine stalled. Let it sit for about ten minutes and then start the engine and clear out all of the smoke.

Seafoam is good but you should try this stuff called Bg44k. I have tried both and bg44k blows Seafoam out of the water. It is around 45-50 bucks but well worth it, check it out

Can you even fing BG products in stores? I've only seen them at dealerships and other shops, never on the shelf at the parts house.

I get my bg44k at advanced auto parts, they keep it in the back so you have to ask an employee to get it for you. Way more expensive than Seafoam but well worth the money IMO.
Even tho you run 91 you should still C an improvement, your choice on which product to get but a can of Seafoam or bg44k in the gas tank never hurts. I run 85 so I make it a point to use additives and change fuel filter on the regs.
