If the GC is anything like the XJ body, you'll need a PCM that is not programmed for SKIS. Just removing the SKIM won't help.

  1. Wrong forum. This section is for Cherokees, not Grand Cherokees.
  2. Wrong forum. This section is for aftermarket electronics, not general problems.

Then I guess 90% of the folks posting here are in the wrong forum.

As far as I know this sub-forum is for all Cherokees.

Yep. They are.

Audio, cb radios, lights, gizmos, ect!

That's probably true. Since the stated purpose is aftermarket stuff, the exact model wouldn't matter for questions that actually relate to the forum.

But a specific question about a specific model is going to get better answers in that model's forum.

I don't see where you get this.

From what I see the sub-forum header says "All electronic info in one location! Audio, cb radios, lights, gizmos, ect!

Note that is says "All electronic info in one location". It doesn't say All electronic info relating to the XJ Cherokee.

But a specific question about a specific model is going to get better answers in that model's forum.

Perhaps, but does the "model's forum" have an electronics sub-forum.

I think this is a matter for the Mods.

Chill out Mark.

With what part of that do you disagree?
