Default Riddle me this electrical issue (sorta resolved)

I bought this 94 GC with the V8 last August. Replace the rear end, Viscous Demon/Coupling, and a few other quirks.

the Brake light has always been on, despite all of the brake components being replaced. Also, The VIC has been in a constant state of turmoil, but mostly over my driver's side door.

I decided to do a tune up, as it had developed a 'hesitation'', nothing alarming, but I felt too clean and needed some grease on me.

After changing the brand new looking spark plugs, I dropped a couple of the ends and needed to chase them out.

My number 2 and 8 wire had been transposed by the previous owner.

It runs surprisingly well now, but with a wee bit more torque.

The weird thing is that the VIC noticed that my driver's door is indeed closed and that the coolant temp sensor must have been replaced.

Is this a coincidence? Or is the 02 sensor giving accurate info now that was throwing th e logic circuit curveballs previously?

Pretty darn happy, regardless. Yet I cant help but wonder, ''Why''?
