Reverse Issues
Have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Quadra Trac, it would not go into reverse, after pulling it out of the parking spot and driving it forward for awhile i again tried reverse and it worked fine? Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts about this issue. thanks

Was it extremely cold that day? Sometimes you have to shift to neutral and let it warm up a bit first. This relaxes the hard o-rings in older transmissions. I had this same problem in my '00 WJ when it was -15*F. Since then I do this even when it's the first start of the day and it's relatively warm out.
