nice! trimming is well worth it when you're running a 33 on 3". I'm stoked for you and would like to see how that beast sits when you're all set up. saw a 97 limited today with 33's and what looked to be a 6" lift. I prefer to stay as low as possible and don't care for the eye catcher look that a big lift offers. lower = safer and more capable. that's what I go for. When I get my projet back on track, I'm going 33's on a 4" and 35's if I can cut enough away.

I also dont want to have to replace the Bilstein 5125's I just bought
XJ's are great for trimming. they are my true love in the 4x4 world.
you'll be way ahead of the competition if you can stuff those under there and running those shocks makes for a great combo, but you already know that.

Realized I haven't posted a pic of the WJ for a while on here or what it looks like muddy with the tires so here you go.

I have owned a 89 laredo, 92 laredo and a 99 sport. I would never buy a cherokee without a 4.0L H.O. motor. I would also look for a cherokee with the selectrac transfer case as you will have more options with this than with the commandtrac. the dana 30 is standard for your front end so pay attention to the rear end. look for a chrysler 8.25. if you spend some time looking and just happen to strike gold, you will find a rig with two dana 44's! prices are unfortunately unpredictable for these jeeps. you are buying what is most likely the vehicle that a person either loves or hates... polar opposites. you should be able to find a decent rig ( 92-95, 4.0 H.O., minus the 44's ) for about $2,500
