Default replacement header

My stock exhaust header has a crack in it (at least one) and it is in a difficult area to access. I've read that the stock header cracks often and would like to replace it. I found some aftermarket headers on ebay and wondered if anybody else had tried them. heres a link:

I think you might be better off with the APN header available through www.ineedparts.com. It's a knockoff of the Banks Torque header from what i understand.

I installed one in my son's YJ a few years ago and it's holding up well.

see if you can find with flex at the bottom. I had that problem too, but I took to a shop and let him weld the crack. So far is still holding. The prevent future crack a piece of flex pipe should be put between cc and exhaust manifold. the manifold crack because of twisting and vibration of CC. It is manufacture "**** poor" design.

i will look into that, thanks!

anyone wrap their headers to reduce engine compartment temps? might be beneficial, especially cuz the intake manifold is right next to the exhaust.

ordered the APN header, got it today and will install it tomorrow. My first impression is WOW! Great looking header and welds especially for the price!
