Replaced factory spark plugs, now runs like a junky blazer!!!
I noticed after I purchased my grand cherokee 4.0L laredo that the tail pipe was black with carbon. I replaced the plugs and now the diagnostics machine states the 2nd cylinder is missfiring. I went to crappy tire and they stated the factory plugs were champion RC12PEC5? Anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks.

According to my manual they should be 1993 to 1998 Champion RC12LYC or 1999 to 2003 Champion RC12ECC.
Hope this helps...

You didn't drop one and close the gap, did you? Got the firing order correct? Damage the wires pulling them off of the plugs?
