Hi, is it difficult to replace the rockerplates on a ZJ 93?

If you mean the rocker panels the metal under the doors its a big job welding and cutting.

but is it difficult? Could i do it with gasless mig welding?

I have not taken them off, but there is a hole in the rear and if i look inside i see that there is some rust. Is it better to spray the inside with oil to prevent more rust and only weld the hole?

It looks like it rusted from the inside out,I would cut it open a little bigger see if you find anymore bad rust.On the inside i would take a wire brush to it see how bad it really is.I would use something like por15 inside it and then weld up the hole.
