replace front right brake line
Hi, i need to replace my front right brake line, from ABS pump to the rubber hose. How much must i remove to get the line out and a new in? Do i only have to loose the ECU box and then its possible to get it out?

Its not nessesary to snake the old one out, you can just cut it into pieces. As for running it as long as you use the newer copper colored line it very easy to work around anything because its easy enough to bend with only a few fingers. But yes, at max you would need to take out the pcm. But you'll need to take out the coolant reservoir to get that out. In my opinion it'll be easier in the long run if you can secure it in a more accessible and secure place for easy access if later issues arise

Old fart with a wrench
Yeah, on my 97 ZJ, the PO had replaced all the brake pipes and just left the old ones in! What a mess! Just make sure it's supported against vibration and rubbing. On mine, the fittings at the ABS pump were the different size than standard, so you'll have to use the old flare nuts.
