Make sure its not painted on first, but there's a rubber wheel you can buy and throw in a drill and it takes all that stuff off. Its like an 4" eraser wheel. I think they're about $40 at NAPA. Thats def the easiest way. Good Luck!

A hair dryer would work, or careful use of a heat gun. Heat it up at one end then slowly start peeling it back at a 45 degree angle heating as you go. Then some Goof Off for getting rid of any residue left behind.

If it is a painted on stripe, you can wet sand it off. Use 1500 grit, but be careful near door & fender edges so you don't go through clear. Then just buff it out w/some compound.Wether it's vinyl or paint, make sure that the stripe hasn't been cleared over.If it's had paint work before, some paint shops will clear right over stripes for blending purposes.

i had gold pin stripe stickers. i used my very inexpensive thumb nail to pry out the stickers. but that just got me irritated after doing just the front passenger door so i decided to use a lighter to heat the pin stripes. then as they softened, i peeled them off very slowly. after they peeled off, i used Goo Gone to rub out the adhesive.

The ones at NAPA are called erasers and they work great. You need to be gentle so as not to burn the underlaying paint.
