Default rear end noise

Hello everyone

I've had some rear end noise for a while now. i had two mechanics (father and son team) that was going to do some work on it. the father said the shocks was bad but the son did a bounce test and said they was fine the noise was something else. I had my muffler disconnect from the cat converter pipe and when I was piecing everything back together i noticed that the muffler pipe at the rear end close to where it slides into the (not sure if its a bushing or what but the pipe has a piece of metal thats on it that fits into the spot) the muffler sits on another metal bar. to me this looks like it should have a support somewhere between the muffler by the cat converter and the part where it like hangs, somewhere by the gas tank or something but I can find anything that looks like its fallen off or has a spot to support the muffler.

I'll post pictures when I can that might be easier to understand
