Default Question on steering play

Hello, I have a 1997 grand Cherokee limited I just change pretty much whole front end all brand new parts everything but ball joints as they are good and wheel bearings. I have been told jeep have sway but wondering as mine has some play in the steering wheel and sways pretty bad just wondering if this is a normal jeep problem or is there some thing I missed with changing the front end

Thanks

Does it wonder on the road? If so then check your steering box it may be bad. As for the sway check your sway bar end links and make sure all tie rod end castle nuts are torqued to spec.

Are you talking about the wheels not turning as much as you turn the steering wheel?

I do have a sway bar with some play at the joint. Do you no the torque specs for the tie rods?

Try adjusting the steering box. You can find videos on youtube on how to do it. Its done with the nut that you can see on top of the box. Follow the steps though cuz its easy to overadjust. Be careful if its to rusty though
