put new distributor cap and jeep won't start
I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I replaced the distributor cap on and after I put the wires back on.. it won't start.. no matter which way I put them.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?

How did the rotor look? Make sure the coil wire is fully seated. The best way I've found to install the wires is to slide the cover back and clip the wire in, then slide the cover back down. See if the end contact on the rotor is blasted back far enough to make it's gap to the cap big enough to not pass enough current to the plugs. Also, sometimes pulling the coil wire out can break the conductor inside the wire itself.

Okay, JakeE, What did you find? If it was a missing rotor, don't be embarrassed. Stupid stuff is part of life.
