power steering fliud 2000 3.1td
hi grand cherokee 2000 3.1 td can anyone help!!
i have lost all power steering fliud out of the top of the bottle and making noises as i turn steering wheel filled up bottle , as i run the engine and rock the steering its bubbling out the top of bottle, does this mean my pump has gone????

Old fart with a wrench
It probably means the pressure regulator is shot. It's in the fitting where the pressure hose comes out of the pump.

Hi I have replaced all ps fluid and bled it and when I turn wheel now the noise is coming from pump so if I change pump will that all so change the regulator , the pump looks like its never been changed and pressure is pushing fluid out the hole in the bottle after 5 mins of running it the squelching noise is happening with the car running when steering is moved all coming from pump pls help thanks

I honestly don't know. When I put a new pump on my wife's Dodge Caravan, it didn't come with a new one and it had instructions on how to remove it from the old one. That's how I know where it is. That was in '97, so maybe it's included in today's replacement pumps, IDK.
