Default possibly getting an 05 grand cherokee for the wifey

So we're seriously looking at getting this jeep for my wife and I was just looking for some actual feedback from the jeep community so any input or experiences with this rig is greatly appreciated http://allenmotorsfs.com/mobile/Vehi...b-a0d4bb5f6383

Looks nice. The 4.7 V8 does not handle abuse very well, you must keep on top of the maintenance, especially the cooling system.

I would install a skid plate for the oil pan. Without the front differential as the lowest point, the engine needs protection. This is the first year with independent front suspension.

$10k with well over 100k miles seems really high for an 11 year old SUV. The Fair market range on it would be $7.6k to $9.4k from a dealer. You could get that car for around $7k from a private party easily. Whatever you do, talk them down. I guarantee they paid no more than $6k for it.
