Default Phantom Dome Lights

I have a 98 zj and within the past week my dome lights, all of them, have started flashing on and off randomly. The dash doesn't do anything just all the overhead lights and the floor board lights.

Any suggestions?? I could pull the fuse and be done with it but it stinks not having interior lights.

Does it show a door ajar or not? It could be a door switch or the bcm failing. I have had both. The rear hatch switch failed and would turn the lights on and off as I drove. Then the bcm failed and I kept coming pout to a dead battery! both pieces cost me $4 each at the local u-pull it yard.

There are no warning lights, door ajar, or anything like that on. What is the bcm? As far as I know, it's only been an issue while I'm driving.

It's the Body Control Module. I believe it is below the instrument pannel.

Thank you! I'll see if I can find it. For some reason it seems to only be in the morning that it does it. On my way home this afternoon it was fine.

the sensor in my rear hatch latch was bad so under hard acceleration the lights would flash on and off because the hatch was moving a little

Little bit of a thread revival here...where exactly is the rear hatch switch located?? And, in the mean time, where is the fuse and what number that controls the dome lights? Thanks.
