Just an update from my last post, my Jeep is running great! Fixed the sticking tailgate issue (the paw that lifts the opening mechanism was partially broke but still contacted, just needed an adjustment) the oil pressure issue, the heater issue and all the rest.


The only issue I am having now is that my battery still drains overnight. I started pulling fuses and when I pulled the IOD fuse my amp reading went from 1.1A to .11A. I've done some research and can not find a good diagram for this circuit. Anyone know what this circuit controls, and maybe a common solution to this problem?

IOD stands for Ignition Off Draw. It's a circuit that is strictly for memory supply and standby functions for electronic modules. A typical module would be the PCM memory, radio memory, and the receiver for the key fob transmissions. Stuff like that. Chrysler says that if the vehicle hasn't been operated in 21 days, there may not be sufficient charge to start it. The number and type of modules depends on the model and equipment but the draw should not exceed 25 milliamps (0.025 amps).
