Fro those of you who say a CPS will not set a code, I've got news for you. My 2000 WJ 4.0 died while idling today and wouldn't fire at all for a couple of minutes, then fired up and ran like nothing had happened. On the drive home, it stuttered once in a while and the tach needle dropped to zero each time, but ran smooth until I shut it off. I tried the key trick and got a P0320 code, but the CEL was not on, nor did my scan tool show a set code. Anyhow, I'm buying a new one. I got my warning! 198K on the original.
