my 95 zjs temp needle doesnt seem to be in the middle its like at a 1/4 the way hot i guess you could say. is this ok or no?

this is driving in 70 degree weather for about 30 mins

My guess would be the the thermostat is probly is stuck open if not check the temp sending unit (Ithink thats what its called too early to think ) but check that first!! good luck!

So if its running cold its a posibility that the thermostat is stuck open? I just got the jeep and I am just picking up the slack from th PO. Would it help if I said I was getting horrible gas milage even with the tune up and seafoam I used.

My '97 runs just under the halfway mark after warming up.
If your t-stat is stuck open you should be getting a code for that, and it will use more fuel as it thinks it's still warming up. It would be a code 17-"Engine is cold too long. Engine coolant temperature remains below normal operating temperatures during operation (check the thermostat)."

Well I bought a thermostat. I did a tune up like I said and its idling rough and seems to b runnning rich and gas milage Is like 13mpgs.
